How much does roof washing cost in Ocala?
It depends on the size, pitch and type of roof, so I price from a photo. Text a picture of your roof to (352) 497-8526 or use the form, and you'll get your price the same day. A roof wash costs a small fraction of what a new roof does.
Will roof washing damage my metal roof?
No. We soft wash metal roofs with low pressure, which protects the painted finish and avoids forcing water past seams and fasteners. High-pressure washing is what causes damage, and we don't use it on roofs.
Is soft washing safe for shingle roofs?
Yes. Soft washing uses low pressure and a cleaning solution instead of a high-pressure blast, so it removes algae and black streaks without stripping the granules that protect your shingles.
Why is my metal roof turning black or gray?
In most cases it's algae, mildew and dirt that grow in Florida's heat and humidity, especially on shaded parts of the roof. It makes the roof look old and faded, but the metal underneath is usually fine. A soft wash removes the growth and brings back the color.
How long does a roof cleaning last?
It depends on shade, nearby trees and moisture. Roofs in full sun stay clean longer, and shaded roofs under trees come back sooner. Because a soft wash kills the growth at the root, it lasts much longer than just rinsing the roof.
Will it hurt my plants or pets?
We pre-soak and rinse your plants and landscaping before and after cleaning to protect them. Keep pets inside while we work, and they can go back out once everything is rinsed and dry.
Do I need to be home for my roof wash?
No. As long as we can reach an outdoor water spigot, we can wash your roof while you're at work or out for the day. I'll text you when it's done.
Do you wash roofs outside of Ocala?
Yes. We wash roofs in The Villages, Belleview, Summerfield, Silver Springs, Dunnellon, Lady Lake, Fruitland Park, Weirsdale and across Marion County.
